Refund Policy

Short version: Try us free for 7 days. Cancel anytime. Monthly and annual subscriptions are non-refundable once renewed, but you keep access until the end of the period. One-time purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
1. Free trial
New subscribers to our Pro plan receive a 7-day free trial. During the trial:
- You have full access to all Pro features;
- Your card is not charged;
- You may cancel at any time with no charge from the "Billing" section of your account;
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically begins and your card is charged.
2. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly Pro and Family subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing cycle.
- Cancellation: you may cancel anytime from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period, then does not renew.
- Refunds: monthly charges are non-refundable once processed. We do not issue pro-rata refunds for unused days in the billing period.
- Exceptions: if you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, charge after explicit cancellation, unauthorized access to your account), contact hello@oilscompanion.com within 60 days and we will investigate and refund when appropriate.
3. Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months at a discounted rate.
- 14-day cancellation window: if you cancel within 14 days of your first annual payment, we will issue a full refund minus any fees charged by the payment processor.
- After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You retain access for the full billing year.
- Subsequent annual renewals follow the same 14-day cancellation window from the renewal date.
4. One-time purchases (Protocol Library & similar)
One-time lifetime-access purchases (such as the Protocol Library) include a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied:
- Email hello@oilscompanion.com within 14 days of purchase;
- Include your order number and reason for the refund request;
- We will process the refund to your original payment method within 10 business days;
- Access to the purchased feature will be revoked once the refund is processed.
5. How to request a refund
Send an email to hello@oilscompanion.com with the subject "Refund Request" and include:
- Your account email address;
- Order or subscription ID (from your confirmation email);
- Reason for the refund request.
We respond to all refund requests within 5 business days and, when approved, process refunds within 10 business days to your original payment method.
6. EU/UK statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the contract date without giving a reason. However, by starting to use the Service during the withdrawal period, you acknowledge that you expressly waive the right of withdrawal for fully performed digital services, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, send an unambiguous statement to hello@oilscompanion.com. We will refund the full purchase price within 14 days of receipt of your withdrawal statement.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and pursue recovery of disputed amounts plus any chargeback fees incurred. We strongly prefer to resolve issues directly — please always email us first.
8. Price changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Changes do not affect the current billing period. You will receive at least 30 days' advance notice of any price change. If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel before the next renewal.
9. Service availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Brief outages for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues are not grounds for a refund unless the Service is unavailable for an extended continuous period and you contact us.
